Welcome to Ponds and Pines RV Park. We are located 4.5 miles west of Luck, Wisconsin, just over an hour from the Twin Cities metro area. Our retired farm and vineyard features five back-in sites and three pull-through sites. Enjoy a peaceful stay with many birds, animals, and beautiful scenery.
Our land has been in the family for over 60 years. The 60-foot-tall pines bordering the property were planted by our family during the 1960’s. More pines have been planted since.
Our RV park is nestled in a delightful lowland between the surrounding gentle sloping hills. Over the past two decades, we have shaped the ponds. We also managed the water flow as part of the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). There have been many new arrivals of rare migratory birds.
Grape vines grace the slopes of a hillside. These cold-hardy varieties, including the Marquette grape, were developed at the University of Minnesota. At the top of the hill is a pergola to enjoy the view of the ponds and lowlands.
In the spring, abundant sugar maples on this land produce sap. We boil it down in our sugar shack (located behind the pole barn). We only harvest the first run of sap each spring, which produces the finest maple syrup from this land.
Ponds and Pines offers stunning low-light pollution views of the night sky over this peaceful, tranquil and natural landscape. Take a short walk up to our Pergola which overlooks the vineyard and much of the beauty. You can also hike out in the prairie. Explore down a few enchanting trails that are labeled for you to discover.
